Vintage 1950’s Hercules Mountain Cloth Work Shirt

Now here’s a fun example of when quality was at the forefront of all garment design and brands would compete to make the best clothing they could. Superb Hercules “Mountain Cloth” work shirt with double stitched seams, selvedge side gussets, cat eye buttons and a pencil pocket in addition to the two front pockets. Material feels like moleskin or potentially cotton with some sort of weather proofed coating, whatever it is it’s super heavy duty and thick. Some stains on the lower half of the arms and right side of the front body, as well as the back right shoulder. Small pinhole on shoulder as well.
