If you look at the design for leather flight jackets following the fifty years after this jacket was made, they generally remain unchanged excluding the red fox fur collar was replaced with a more affordable synthetic. That's just how dang good of a jacket this bad boy is! Beautiful leather G-1 flight jacket made by Star Sportswear manufacturing in 1957. Knit cuffs at the sleeves and waist, fox fur collar and comfy lining. Some nicks to the leather at the elbows and shoulders, and the right side of the fox fur collar is having some minor issues, but all in all this bad boy is ready to go!
